You do not have to pay for an urgent service to get your apostille, you can do it yourself. The State of Texas processes all documents on a first-come, first-served basis.

Apostille Texas services may only be issued in the state of Texas by the Texas Secretary of State’s office. We recommend that you call the Apostille Office and describe your document to ensure that you are ready for the apostille.

An apostille may be placed on original documents issued in the state of Texas that bear the official signature and seal of a valid mandatory notary, current Texas State Registrar, Probate Judge, or a document issued by one of Texas’ state departments.
